Applications for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Tropical Biodiversity and Ecosystems (TROPIMUNDO), which is run by the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), are now officially open for the 2026–2027 academic year. Financial Benefits:
One of the most extensive scholarship packages in Europe will be provided to chosen applicants under the Erasmus Mundus and VLIR-UOS Mundus tropicalis grant. The program covers:

Program Structure:
The program is divided across four semesters:

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be considered for the Erasmus Mundus TROPIMUNDO Scholarship 2026, students must:
- Students from all academic and geographic backgrounds are eligible to participate in the TROPIMUNDO program.
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in
- biology,
- the natural sciences,
- environmental sciences,
- a closely related discipline (minimum 180 ECTS or equivalent).
- Strong academic records and a strong drive for multidisciplinary environmental studies.
- English proficiency (and/or French proficiency, depending on partner university criteria).
- Experience in ecological studies, biodiversity, or conservation—whether academic, professional, or research—is advantageous.
